RelationshipAdvices publishes general educational information about adult relationships. It is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or professional counselling, and no reader-writer relationship is created by using it. We are not licensed clinicians. Decisions about your own relationship are yours, and for anything serious you should speak to a professional who knows your situation.

This site is intended for readers aged 18 and over. Some content discusses sex and intimacy frankly.

Community rules

When you post here you keep ownership of what you write and grant us permission to display it on the site. Do not post anything that identifies a private individual, including names, contact details, or photographs of anyone who has not consented. Do not post slurs, harassment, or promotional spam. We remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend accounts that do it repeatedly.

Comments are readers describing their own experience. They are not vetted advice and we do not endorse them.

Accuracy

We work hard to be accurate and to say plainly when evidence is weak, but we make no warranty that everything here is correct or current. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of anything published here. Where local law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are unaffected by this section.
